Coleus (Solenostemon scutellarioides) leaves has soft texture, this plants offer incredibly colorful foliage in a variety of attractive shapes and sizes. There are a large number of cultivars and these have an interesting history. Technically, they are a tender perennial but they are usually considered an annual plant
Coleus can grow well in cold area with no shade, this condition can make the foliage more bright.  Its can live in dry to wet soil, warm climate, with minimum temperature 50F.  This plant can grow up to 1 m in height, even some times it can be 2 m.  Coleus has  a fast growth, and can multiply by its seed and can often be propagated by clipping a length of stem just below the leaves and putting the stem in water to root.
Coleus also make low-maintenance houseplants, The plant's flowers grow on a stem above that stem's leaves, and tend to be purple and quite small in comparison to the leaves. The plant is not generally grown for its flowers, as it promotes stem elongation (remove to halt this).
